After studying the temporary shelters of Paul Elkins, students were given the task of building a homeless shelter. After deciding on an appropriate outdoor location, they were given a shopping cart, a cardboard box, a tarp and a string, and were tasked with forming a stable combination for a homeless person. 

Ages : Middle School, Youth.
