This project exposes students to a broad range of media in a very short time period. Students are given one drawing implement and have about a minute to work with it, before they are asked to give the pen / pencil to their neighbor. Throughout the class, students are exposed to many materials, including color and chalk pencils, gel / sparkle pens and metallic markers, as they circulate among the students. This is a fast working project, which involves spontaneous thinking.

Supplementary Topics : van Gogh's left ear, Art & Madness, impasto.
Supplementary Material : Don MacLean's 'Starry, Starry Night.'
Ages : Lower School, Middle School, Youth.
